Facial Recognition in Action
This video is from an actual pharmacy installation in Tennessee where
Multi-Dimensional Facial Recognition is being utilized for access control. The
system has been in continuous operation since August 2003 with a 0%
(False Acceptance Rate) and less than 2% (False Rejection Rate)
(mainly due to employees entering the incorrect personal identification
number.
Tailgating Detection is active in this installation. Note the second
woman tries to enter and cannot because the system has detected
someone is standing too close. Once he moves out of the way, the
employee is granted access in under a second.
After the turnstiles, the video shows a door going into the controlled
substances room controlled by our system. This is an example of time/zone
control. Only 20 employees have access to this room while all employees
have access to the facility. Employees are also restricted in access by
their shift time.
